The Third Convocation Ceremony of Al Azhar College of Pharmacy, titled HASEIRA 2K25, took place on July 26, 2025, at the college campus. This event was an important milestone for the graduating students, showcasing their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments.
The official program started at 11:00 a.m. with distinguished guests, faculty members, students, a

nd parents in attendance. Shri Anup Garg, IAS, served as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Rajashri R was the Guest of Honour. Their motivating speeches encouraged the graduating students to strive for excellence and uphold the values of their profession.
The ceremony began with an invocation and a welcome address, followed by the awarding of degrees and recognition of graduates. The dignitaries praised the institution’s efforts to promote academic and professional excellence in pharmacy education.
The formal session ended at 1:30 p.m. Afterward, there was a lively cultural program that featured students showcasing their talents through various performances. An energetic music band performed, bringing rhythm and joy to the celebration. The program wrapped up by 8:00 p.m., leaving behind cherished memories of pride and festivity.
HASEIRA 2K25 truly captured the spirit of achievement, joy, and unity among the students and staff of Al Azhar College of Pharmacy, marking the successful conclusion of the Third Convocation celebrations.



Al Azhar College of Pharmacy Report on the Inauguration of NSS Unit The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Al Azhar College of Pharmacy was officially inaugurated on 1st July 2025 at the dental college seminar hall in a grand and inspiring function organized by the college management in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The program commenced at 10:30 AM with a welcome address by Dr.Adithya, NSS Program Officer,Al-Azhar Dental College who highlighted the vision and objectives of NSS – fostering the spirit of volunteerism, social responsibility, and national development among students.The session was enlightened by Dr.Somasekharan.B.Pillai through his valuable words. The function was formally inaugurated by Dr.Anzer RS ,State NSS officer . In his keynote address, the chief guest emphasized the importance of youth involvement in community service and the role of NSS in shaping socially responsible citizens. Dr.Shyam Kumar .B Principal of Al Azhar College of Pharmacy, presided over the function and extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly formed NSS unit. He encouraged the students to actively participate in NSS activities and contribute towards social welfare and community health initiatives. Following this, a special felicitation was given by Arun Chandramohan , NSS programme officer ,Al -Azhar College of Pharmacy to the dignitaries and NSS student volunteers for their commitment and enthusiasm. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Pravin , NSS programme officer, Al- Azhar Medical College, expressing gratitude to the management, faculty, and students for making the event a grand success. The event marked the beginning of a new chapter of social outreach and community engagement at Al Azhar College of Pharmacy through the NSS platform.



On the occasion of World Environment Day, Al Azhar College of Pharmacy organized a meaningful and eco-conscious event on June 5th, 2025. The event was coordinated by the NSS Unit of the college and aimed at raising awareness about environmental protection and promoting sustainable practices among students and staff. The highlight of the program was the sapling plantation drive, which was inaugurated by the respected Managing Director of Al Azhar Group of Institutions, Adv.Mijas K M. The Managing Director planted the first sapling, marking the official commencement of the event and symbolizing the institution’s commitment to environmental stewardship. NSS volunteers, faculty members, and students actively participated in the event by planting various types of saplings within the college campus. The activity not only beautified the surroundings but also instilled a sense of responsibility toward nature inthe minds of the participants.
