The Department of Pharmacy Practice, in association with IQAC, observed World Patient Safety Day on 17 September 2025 with the global theme “Safe Care for Every New-born and Every Child.”  Arun Chandramohan, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice, delivered an insightful session emphasizing the importance of patient safety in neonatal and pediatric care. The program highlighted key aspects such as safe medication practices, prevention of medical errors, infection control measures, and the vital role of healthcare professionals—especially pharmacists—in ensuring safe and effective care for newborns and children.
