The event will feature Ms. Anju Jose, Associate Professor and SSGP Nodal Officer, as the speaker, who will address the importance of mental health in the workplace. Commencement Ceremony: 2024 Batch B Pharm

The Commencement Ceremony for the B Pharm 2024 batch took place on October 9, 2024, marking a significant milestone for the graduates. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest P K Harikumar, former Senior Manager at KSDPL, Alappuzha, who shared invaluable insights into the evolving landscape of the pharmacy profession. Chairman K M Moosa Hajji delivered an inspiring presidential address, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and lifelong learning. The ceremony celebrated not only the achievements of the graduates but also welcomed them into the Al Azhar family, fostering a sense of community and commitment to excellence in their future endeavors.

The farewell party for the 2nd year D.Pharm batch students was held on October 1, 2024, organized by the juniors of the 2022 batch. The event included memory sharing by both students and teachers, celebrating the journey and accomplishments of the seniors.

Al Azhar College of Pharmacy celebrated Pharmacist Day 2024 on September 25, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). Under the theme “Pharmacist: Meeting Global Health Needs,” the event featured a variety of engaging programs. Students participated in a lively quiz competition that tested their knowledge of pharmacy and global health issues. They also showcased their creativity through poster presentations focused on the theme, highlighting the crucial role pharmacists play in addressing healthcare challenges. Additionally, a thought-provoking debate was held on the impact of AI technology in the pharmacy profession, where students explored the opportunities and challenges presented by this emerging field.

Al Azhar College of Pharmacy celebrated Onam 2024 with vibrant cultural events that showcased the rich traditions of Kerala. The festivities commenced with a lively Shingari Melam, setting a joyous tone for the day. Inaugurated by M.D. Adv. Mijas K. M., the celebration featured a variety of Onam-related games that engaged students and faculty alike. The highlight of the event was the traditional Sadya, a grand feast that brought everyone together to savor authentic Onam dishes, fostering a sense of community and cultural appreciation.
